Another Week .. More memories to treasure :)

Dear Journal,

         It has been a busy week for us again. But we enjoyed this week :)

       Before this week ended, we had our IV-Diamond open forum in our room. The issue is about the ambush interview during the 2013 Inaugural which was held at the Bayambang Public Plaza. The ambush interview was not a big deal at first. The problem is that, my other classmates told the others to run over to the municipal hall to do the ambush interview. Others were very serious about that and that was the start of misunderstanding. But we've fixed it later on. That's the beautiful thing about that.

          So .. Here's the real thing XD :

          We're still tackling the road of exponential functions and yeah .. We had our new lessons again for this week :) 

   

           The first was "Population Growth". It was as easy as finding the interest/ final amount. It's just that, in getting the P in the equation of this "Population Growth" (P=Po(1+r)^t and came up with a decimal answer, you'll not round it up unlike the usual thing we do in Math. For example, the total population you got is 67004.78. It'll not be 67005 because it's wrong to write it that way, as Ma'am Lala said. It should be 67004. It's just that easy. :) We've also tried this using bacteria as our example but we've used a different equation/formula. That formula's: (N=Noe)^kt. Complicated at first :D 

           Ma'am Lalalyn said we're going to use the usual formula in finding the interest/ population growth if there's no required formula given to be used in solving a particular problem.

           Next was the "Exponential Decay". Unlike the previous formula that we used, the formula in solving problems regarding this topic is different. Not that different rather because we just changed the sign from plus to minus. (A=P(1+r)^t --->  A=P(1-r)^t). The first example that Ma'am gave us was the Deprecation problem. It's like solving an interest, rate problem it's just that we used a different sign in our formula. It was fun learning this topic/s. I hope Ma'am will give us more examples on Monday for us to understand and enjoy the topic. :)

             And we're also excited about the incoming Review :)
